Classes Offered

**Classes are separated by age, with skill level taken into consideration**

  • Mommy/Daddy and Me

Meeting once a week, this class is for children from ages 2 ½ to 3 years old. Mommy or Daddy get to participate in class with their little one! They have the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of ballet and tap. In addition to learning basic movements and terminology, students get the freedom to express themselves through creative movement and learn how to work together as a group. This class is geared toward students, who aren’t quite ready to be by themselves in class. This class will help ease the students transition to Pre-Ballet.

  • Pre-Ballet/Tap/Tumbling Combo

Meeting once a week, this class is for children from ages 3 to 5 years old. They have the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of ballet and tap. In addition to learning the basic movements and terminology, students get the freedom to express themselves through creative movement and learn how to work together as a group. As an added bonus, students get to have even more fun by learning primary tumbling skills.

  • Ballet I/ Tap Combo

Meeting once a week, this class if for children from ages 5-7 years old. They have the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of ballet and tap. In addition to learning the basic movements and terminology, students get the freedom to express themselves through creative movement and learn how to work together as a group. Students will be introduced to ballet II curriculum, to help assist him/her in their advancement when ready.

  • PURPLE CLASS Ballet II

In this class, children from ages 8-10 years old have the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of ballet. In addition to providing a solid basic ballet foundation, more Intermediate level movements and terminology are introduced in this curriculum. Technique becomes an integral part of ballet class. Students have the option to take 2x per week.

  • BLACK CLASS Ballet III

This class meets twice per week. In this class, children from ages 11 + years old have the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of ballet. In addition to providing a solid basic ballet foundation, more Intermediate/Advanced level movements and terminology are introduced in this curriculum. Students who demonstrate the physical and mental readiness, are considered for pointe shoes.

  • BLACK CLASS Ballet IV (Intermediate/Advanced)

This class meets twice per week. In this class, children from ages 12 + years old have the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of ballet. In addition to providing a solid basic ballet foundation, more Intermediate/Advanced level movements and terminology are introduced in this curriculum. Students who demonstrate the physical and mental readiness, are considered for pointe shoes.

  • Jazz/Lyrical/ Modern

This class meets once per week. In this class, children (from ages 8– 10 years old for level I and 11+ years for level II) have the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of Jazz/Lyrical/Modern. In addition to providing a solid basic foundation, more Intermediate/Advanced level movements and terminology are introduced in this curriculum. Students are not required, but it is strongly recommended to also attend ballet classes . Ballet influences all genres of dance.

  • Tap

This class meets once per week. In this class, children (from ages 8-10  years old for level I and 11+ years for level II) have the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of Tap. In addition to providing a solid basic foundation, more Intermediate/Advanced level movements and terminology are introduced in this curriculum. Students are not required, but it is strongly recommended to also attend ballet classes. Ballet influences all genres of dance.

  • Adult Ballet Fitness

Ages 18+. This class offers a wide variety of benefits. Using ballet movements as the inspiration, cardio, core, flexibility, and strength conditioning are infused into the class creating a unique twist.

Special Discounts

**Multiple discounts cannot be used**

Military/ First Responders Discount: To salute our military, we offer 10% off of your total monthly tuition for Active, Reserve, or Guard military members. Police, EMS, and Fire also receive this discount.

Combining Classes: If your student wishes to participate in a ballet class plus a tap or jazz class. You will receive a 10% discount off of your most expensive class.

Family Rate: If you have more than one student that you wish to sign up, you will receive a 10% off of your most expensive class.

Yearly Fees

Registration Fee:  $35Yearly, non-refundable fee. Holds your child’s place in class.

Recital Fee: Helps defer from the cost of auditorium rental, sets, props, etc.

Costume Fee: We will not be charging a costume deposit this year. Costume prices and deadline for payment will be announced at a later date.

Other

Private Lessons: $40 per hour (non-student $50); $30 per half hour (non-student $40) (available for all classes except Mommy/Daddy and Me)

Dance Attire

Proper attire is an important part of dance class. Being prepared and properly dressed for class helps your child/ren reach their full potential. Ballet Level III and up are required to have a specific color leotard, according to their level. This is implemented to help the child/ren feel like part of his/her dance group as a whole and getting them accustom to a more professional atmosphere.

  • Mommy/Daddy and Me: Girls may wear any colored leotard, skirts are optional, pink tights and ballet shoes. Hair should be up and out of face. Boys may wear any color t-shirt with athletic shorts or pants, with black or white ballet shoes. Tap shoes should be low-heeled tan tap shoes. Parents wear something comfortable to move around in.
  • Pre-Ballet/ Tap/ Tumbling: Girls may wear any colored leotard, skirts are optional, pink tights and pink ballet shoes.  Hair should be in a bun, no bangs.  Boys wear a white t-shirt, black leggings, tights or shorts, and black or white ballet shoes. Tap shoes should be low-heeled tan tap shoes.
  • Ballet I/ Tap: Girls may wear any colored leotard, skirts are optional, pink tights and pink ballet shoes.  Hair should be in a bun, no bangs.  Boys wear a white t-shirt, black leggings, tights or shorts, and black or white ballet shoes. Tap shoes should be low-heeled tan tap shoes.
  • PURPLE CLASS Ballet III: Color level indicates the leotard color that should be worn to class.You may purchase your own purple leotard, or you have the option to order through the studio. Girls wear their specified class-colored leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.  Hair should be in a bun, no bangs.  Boys wear a white t-shirt, black shorts, tights or leggings, and black or white ballet shoes.
  • BLACK CLASS Ballet III: Color level indicates the leotard color that should be worn to class.You may purchase your own red leotard, or you have the option to order through the studio. Girls wear their specified class-colored leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.  Hair should be in a bun, no bangs.  Boys wear a white t-shirt, black shorts, tights or leggings, and black or white ballet shoes.
  • BLACK CLASS Ballet IV (Intermediate/ Advanced): Color level indicates the leotard color that should be worn to class.You may purchase your own black leotard, or you have the option to order through the studio. Girls wear their specified class-colored leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.  Hair should be in a bun, no bangs.  Boys wear a white t-shirt, black shorts, tights or leggings, and black or white ballet shoes.
  • Jazz/Modern: Girls may wear a leotard of any color. Dance shorts are permitted, with tights underneath. Hair should be up in a bun or ponytail with bangs secured back. Shoes may be lace up or slip on split sole tan jazz shoes. Boys may wear non-baggy athletic wear, with split sole or lace up black jazz shoes. The need for modern/lyrical shoes will be announced in class as needed. NO JAZZ SNEAKERS
  • Tap: Girls may wear a leotard of any color. Dance shorts/pants are permitted. Hair should be up in a bun or ponytail with bangs secured back. Shoes should be low heel, and split sole tan tap shoes. Boys may wear non-baggy athletic wear, with low heel split sole black tap shoes.
  • Adult Ballet Fitness: Wear something that you can move comfortably and easily in, such as non-baggy athletic wear. Hair up and secured out of face. Wear sneakers. Some days we may take them off. If ballet shoes are needed I will announce ahead of time.
